This uses the same principal as SONAR. By sending Ultra-high frequency sound into the part being tested. If the sound comes back at a different frequency to the sending unit, this can be displayed on the visual display. Once interpretated, this can be used to identify any problems. This can be used in multiple industries for multiple applications. It can be used to inspect pipes, storage tanks, welds etc.
